https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table 5 points separating 8 places, between 15th and 22nd. Could easily go down to the last match of the season. I'd be quite happy with Huddersfield and even Wednesday staying up. QPR have hung around like a bad smell for too long at that level without looking like going up or down. Millwank we all despise. Neither club bring many to us (we need to get up obviously) and are a trek to visit. Birmingham it would serve them right for getting shut of Eustace. Stoke would be very funny when they are owned by the biggest taxpayer in the country, but can't spend due to FFP.
Unfortunately, I think Wednesday will survive quite comfortably. They are starting to look like the only side down there that can find a string of results. Any 2 from 3 (QPR, Millwall, Stoke). Birmingham and Huddersfield will be OK, just.
I wouldn't be happy about them staying up, but I'd be very interested to see the reaction on here, if they did.
Looking at things purely objectively, Danny Rohl is doing an incredible job so far. Either by design or by accident, he's looking like an inspired appointment. Listening to him on Radio Sheffield yesterday, he comes across absolutely brilliantly. Very well-spoken, especially considering English isn't his first language. If he does keep them up I'm pretty sure clubs which aren't so chaotic behind the scenes will come sniffing.
He has improved them, under him they've won 10, drawn 3 and lost 13, 17th by league position... but incredible job is probably a bit too far.
Terrible appointment. I much preferred the Portuguese fella they had before. He was doing a top job, just needed an extended contract.
I would never be happy to see Wednesday stay up. But they’ve given themselves a chance now when it looked near impossible. Rovrum are doomed. Would like Millwall to drop. But wouldn’t hate one of Stoke or QPR to go down.
Another round of matches and it hasn't changed. Still 5 points between 8 places. Someone at this rate could end up being relegated on goal difference, thanks to an injury time goal at the end of match 46.
