I’ve said it many times,how bad must Hungary for him to warrant a game.

 

It doesn’t really matter what he does at Sunderland. It’s how he performs at the Euro’s that will determine whether or not we get proper money for him. One or two good games this summer and someone, somewhere, will think that £2m is a bargain!

 

They're ****, be all but out after a couple of games. The Euros aren't going to make a bit of difference to his price tag.

Usual suspects frustrated by a good victory needing something remotely BFC based to trash....

 

I don’t think it’s people trying to trash the club at all, I personally think he has not put the effort in at Barnsley, even when he is probably our best paid player, folks are just saying he’s not nearly as good a player as he himself thinks he is, he has wanted out for ages so good riddance to him

 

I still think people see what they want to see sometimes with players. He wanted to play in the championship, fans take umbrage and decide he's not putting any effort in because he didn't want to be here.

 

Any coach watching him over his time at Barnsley would see a player with potential. sadly only Val has been close to unlocking that and since then he appears to have gone backwards. agree he wouldn't command a place in our team now and obviously the gaffer doesn't see him as part of his plans. Sadly if he did come back and performed to his potential he would again be looking to move on to a bigger club...sell for what we can get and move on...

 

Disagree. On the pitch I saw a player that didn't want to be here and wasn't putting in the effort that others were. No idea what he was like off the pitch

 

I always thought he tried I just thought his technique let him down in midfield. Bags of energy & running but his passing & close control is no where near as good as our 3 starting midfielders.

Much better suited to wing back where he can get up & down the pitch & play to his strengths

 

Hope he does well for them and we get a half decent wedge off them for him in the summer. Best all round if he moves on permanently. Perhaps a good summer for Hungary will push his value up? I'd take 500k tbh, get him off our wage bill.

Reads like a thread that could have been lifted from here. “Thought he did well”/“Well I thought he was toss”

 

He was on a hiding to nothing yesterday as we are a complete mess at the minute. He started the game as a left wing back and finished it playing right wing. We tried something we haven't done all season, 3 at the back and could have been 4-0 down by half time.

 

I felt embarrassed when we played Chelsea and commentators were calling bury baggio hwaplaying well but... come on.i dont no how much his new contract was worth but if its decent we need rid.

 

That's the way I see it. I had a debate with someone on here before xmas who said he should be one of 1st names on team sheet. Its not bitterness from me at all I hope he does well at Sunderland and we get some money for him and he moves on. But if you went yesterday and would swap styles in the starting 11 for and of the midfield 3 or wing backs but sorry footballs not for you.

 

Really should have burned a highlights reel to DVD from his LWB play a few years ago. And then slipped it under the Watford managers door prior to the January transfer window.

 

Could understand his poor performances for us if he didn't want to be hear, I guess we'll see how he gets on for Sunderland, might be playing half hearted to not get injured with one eye on the Euros
