At 8am this morning eight of us will walk from Weston Park to Oakwell as part of the 'Together At Every Step' partnership - helping to raise vital funds for people diagnosed with cancer. Just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who welcomed the walkers back to Oakwell on Saturday. We got there around 1.15 and was a few to greet us and popped some money in our buckets. Whilst most of us had our personal reason for doing the walk, it was a little lad at the end who pulled the heart strings of many. I'd say he was around 7 years old and wanted to say thank you to us for doing the walk, and his story explained that he'd personally had to experience Weston Park last year due to a diagnosis. He kindly had some photos with the walkers too.
