    I did hear the other day - but it was on Johhny Vaughan so could be utter crap - that he applied for a part-time law degree at Nottingham University while at Derby. But then left so didn't take his place.

    To be honest its nice to see more people with provincial accents getting on mainstream media. If he talks carp then he talks carp but there should be more Liverpudluans, Mancunians, brummies, Yorkshire folk etc. on tv. on progs like this. Its a national sport (and has working class roots) and its nice to remind people in the south-east of the fact from time to time
