    Some awesome albums mentioned here already which would be well up there on my list. How to even pick a favourite Beatles album? Plenty of people going for Rubber Soul, Revolver and Abbey Road but nobody has gone for Sergeant Pepper or the White Album. Personally I can't separate them.

    Albums not mentioned already that I find myself returning to regularly, or return to less often but I'm always blown away by them when I do, include:

    Leftfield - Leftism
    REM - could be any of their albums depending on my mood, but New Adventures in Hi-Fi probably shades it. Just.
    The Decemberists - The King is Dead

    And then there's the artists whose albums I've not listened to that much but I often put on shuffle on Spotify or listen to compilations.

    It's a brilliant album but not one for every day. Makes Automatic for the People sound light and uplifting!

    Yeah, nowhere nearby though :( seen them quite a few times so not overly disappointed. Hoping they might add a Manchester date.

    Have you bought the Reissue of The Love album. It s really well done with some great extra tracks and live stuff. I’d very much recommend.

    No, cheers for the heads up. Will definitely check it out. Never went to see Carter live as their concerts were reported to be extremely hazardous! Really wish I had.

    One of my favourite ever cover versions.

    Some of the best times of my life we are Carter concerts and Jon Beast (RIP) was very entertaining. Such great bouncy fun.

    I tend to listen to the instrumental version as I find it just too much. Yarmouth is one of my favourite recent albums as well shows a deftness of touch
