Laziest 45 minutes of football in a long time and he left him on while we were effectively playing with 10 men

Use the ******* subs bench properly and we would have walked that second half

Did he set up the second goal?

I thought Cole was good today. That first half tracking back was exceptional. Definitely tired second half but that's on Collins to make a sub earlier.

I think Cole is there because he’s top of the goal scoring charts - just a hunch.
I’m not sure you can blame Cole for Collins’ inexplicable decision to replace a forward with a midfielder.

His lack of goals lately is concerning. He needs a rest, kick up the butt or both. I'd be tempted to start Cosgrove and McAtee on Saturday.

I think we needed another body in the middle. I dont think it was inexplicable.

Was involved in the 2nd goal his back heal to pines. Quiet night that 2nd half was hard for any lone striker when your gaffers trying to park the bus for 30 minutes plus injury time.

I think Connell needed to come off. I didn’t have a problem with Grant.
We definitely needed an outlet. Cosgrove should have been on much earlier.

I do agree that Connell was poor and could’ve been replaced but the bigger problem to me seemed to be their midfield was walking through ours so I get taking a striker off to clog the midfield.

as for keeping Cole on. To me it made sense as they were going to be pushing, leaving space behind and he is our quickest striker.

Our lack of options up front showed tonight. We needed like for like swaps, to keep up the pressing intensity. Cosgrove isn’t that type of player. Watters is absolutely useless, & is Marsh even good enough?

not sure we needed Cosgrove earlier tbh, might just be me but he seems to run in slow motion.

We needed him because McAtee was on a card.
Otherwise I’d have kept McAtee on.
But u can’t expect Cole to hold the ball up on his own. End result is what happened - the opposition coming at us non stop.

The lad shows absolutely no interest at all, I would not be bothered if he left in the summer.

We didn't have a midfield tonight, Bolton dominated it.

He's a good player who has worked hard this season but tonight he did t want to be on the pitch. Didn't put any effort in at all in that second half and we effectively played with 10 men

I don’t disagree with Mcatee going off he was getting more rash and therefore a liability fo a sending off , I just find Cosgrove very unconvincing, he’s slow and rarely closes down quick enough because of it

Great first half, absolute statue for last 1/2 hour he was on. Zero effort.
