I can't remember more than 1 or 2 of Roberts kicks going to one of our players. When we were 2 up why not keep possession by playing out from the back. Just a thought. He needs to watch Man Us goalie.
To be fair the 1st goal was so avoidable if your going to commit a stupid foul at least stop them playing the fast free kick and let players get back in position. But macatee was on a yellow so better still don't do the needless foul.
Knowing Bolton to be a high energy pressing team Collins tactic, quite rightly, was for Roberts to kick long and not try to play out. It was successful for most of the game.
