Nothing to do with the coach then , who i am sorry to say is just not good enough over the last few weeks everyone has started to think he was doing a decent job, but as i said earlier in season most know he hasn't got a plan B, because of his useless substitutions, but to me he hasn't got a plan A. He has them all playing like crabs again sideways, no urgency. It seems everytime we get ourselves in a half decent situation in the league, we blow it. Also, how the hell Russell gets in the squad never mind on the field, will someone explain, he is a man totally out of his depth on a football field
What do you think he can select? Your tiny brain has clearly identified that Jon Russell is bad at football. But riddle me this, genius - who is Collins supposed to pick instead? The squad is wafer thin. He's consistently picking the best team available to him, and getting the most out of them that its possible to get.
Don’t overlook three simple solutions .A hardworking entertaining football team, you’ll get your Atmosphere
These are the same morons that booed Hourihane the other week. A player who was fabulous for us. Indeed, probably the same morons who heckled him that first season when he'd got about 10 assists and nearly as many goals. Some 'fans' really should get another hobby.
There are some decent young uns they have given contracts to, vandernathan, dyer, and quite a few more. All with a lot more potential and energy than Russell, huddersfield kicked him out for the same reason, the bloke is rank bad, admit it
Dour dull football. Average home record. Revolving door for players and managers. Admin **** ups. Allegations of sexism. They are lucky we turn up.
It works both ways.. players need fans as much as fans like to see good play.. is it a coincidence that our best home record in the last twenty years was the empty ground c'ovid season.. players struggle at oakwell and go in there shell.
I think the former regime and the current one have caused a lot of damage and a lot of people just aren’t as interested as they once were. I’m the same, I don’t care like I once did. Speaking to plenty of others and they say the same. It’s difficult supporting a club like this, because even at your best moments IE promotion, you know the following season will be a shitshow. Players leaving in their droves, lack of investment, near enough guaranteed to be right at the bottom of the league next year. League 1 is depressing, it’s hard to get up for it. Poor standard, ***** away followings, overpriced tickets etc. Unfortunately the owners, mainly the previous lot, granted, have caused this. They’ve put us through the mill the last 4 years, people just aren’t as interested nowadays.
The atmosphere improves when EVERYTHING is moving in the right direction, from results first & foremost, to player loyalty, coaching staff loyalty & passion, to decent entertainment pre match & half time, the weather can play a factor, its just having the right ingredients all at once. Not to mention the ground, which i think doesn't help in the slightest, acoustics etc. Despite a decent 2nd half of the season last season when things were looking up finally, its been tosh for a while. The lack of professionalism all the way up to board room level is concerning, the constant merry go round of players & managers dont help, so year after year its just constant rebuilding & no real identity or long term vision, just hoping a few players come good at the same time to sell on, rinse & repeat. I mean if we get promoted, the out of contract players will still be off most likely, and its another rebuild job in the tier above. I actually renewed for this season during the early bird offers, but what we witnessed in the summer (plus my personal life changes) prompted me to request a refund, & its the best decision i made, especially considering how poor its been at home this season, and the shocking access issues thats been apparent for a good few years now. I was envious Tuesday evening though, it seemed like a cracking atmosphere, but its revert to type yesterday it seems. But its looking like play offs again, and if we make the final i'll probably stop at home & watch, the enthusiasm has waned slightly.
Nothing to do with how the teams doing but some examples here, these teams were pulling no trees up Exeter Lincoln Aberdeen
They didn’t under Duff. Oakwell became a bit of a fortress once we got our poor spell out the way earlier in the season.
I'd say 78.08 percent nitrogen, 20.95 percent oxygen, and 0.93 percent argon. Surprisingly only 0.04 greenhouse gases carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. Showing small things can make a big difference.
