Do we need the Play-Offs?

    Based on overall play this season. I reckon the Lincoln game showed us where we're at.

    We should make the Play-Offs but this season won't be going into them with any confidence.

    I can see us not making the Final and that would be catastrophic coupled with the home form.

    I want us to get promoted and win every game but I'd like us to deserve it based on good form.

    Not fluked via the Play-Offs.

    Right now I’d take take a promotion any way we could, even if it was by a poxy goal against 10 men in the 120th minute of the playoff final

    That was heartbreaking but I thought we were good enough last season. This season we haven't been poor. Just haven't been good enough.

    Today we weren't poor. Just weren't good enough. That's harder to take for me.

    We’ll definitely make the play offs but I wouldn’t fancy us against any of the other sides we’re likely to face. Think Lincoln will claim 6th so looks like Posh or Bolton.

    Not sure you can “fluke” the playoffs. If you go up, you deserve it.

    Also not sure how you can you’d be going into them with no confidence when we have 8 games still to play. Lots of football left to play for any of the top 6 positions and lots of football left to play to get any kind of run going, whether that be no wins in the last 8 or unbeaten in them.

    I liken this season to the 20/21 season. We'd be taking part in the Play-offs.

    Think we’ll make the playoffs and that’s about it.. We’ve flattered to deceive IMO. Poor home form coupled with a sheite defence majority of the season will see us miss out I reckon. The other teams just seem to be stronger.

    Yeh I do but you never know. I’m all but certain we’ll be in League 1 next season but you’re gotta be in it to win it. Bolton - Peterborough final.

    No reason we can't win them. Would I be confident right now? Not particularly. Especially at home. But there's 8 games left - we might win the last 6 of them and go in full of confidence and all guns blazing. Absolutely 0 reason we can't do it.

    Cheers for gee up. Just with Derby playing Bolton and Peterborough playing Portsmouth. Feel like we've wasted a massive opportunity.

    I won't slate the manager ( who I thinks doing an amazing job) or the players (who have done their best off the back of a massive disappointment).

    Might be a bridge too far. Collins done well to galvanize them this long.
