I'm hurting as much as any of the booing abusive fans in the ground or watching on ifollow or as anyone on this forum but I don't boo or abuse anybody.
If I was in charge I would bring Hecky or Warnock in to see if they could give us a successful end to the season but if the board don't then I'm not going to jump on them or Collins Kane Cole etc
I love being inside a loud supportive encouraging ground but being inside Oakwell unless we are winning against a big team it is generally uncomfortable embarrassing and depressing.

Without the "clowns input" and "afraid to pass forward"
I'd like to mention we've scored 4 more than Portsmouth, same amount as Derby and one less than Bolton and a sackful more than Lincoln.I would suggest that they are told to go forward.

The top 3 aren't as good - but the bottom sides are statistically better.

But, the main issue is that player for player, we're fcking miles worse.

Yet we're only one place lower.

I'm happy, see you at Wembley.

It's his complete lack of ability to change the him. He's so stubborn with his formation and so predictable with his subs; can see them coming a mile off

The players definitely need to take some of the blame but we'll never be successful with this man in charge

What do you mean by statistically better? What statistics show they're better? My eyes show they're awful opposition.

The own goal killed the game didn't it. After that they went 11 men behind the ball and we don't have the quality to break them down. The squad is so obviously weaker than last season, the fact that we're in the position we are is surprising.

He should have gone months ago. It’s been clear for a long time that he is tactically incapable. The board have cost us automatic promotion by hiring him and keeping him in place for so long. Now Cole and Roberts aren’t getting us out of trouble every week we are completely fcked. The performances haven’t changed but the results have reverted to the mean.

Basically all statistics show that they're better than the poor sides from last year. Every measurable metric shows this. The evidence is there.

But hey, you trust your eyes*

*good discussion this btw. I'm not happy by a long chalk, and recent results have been poor. But I still can't get my head round anyone who wants a man sacked when were stuck on for the playoffs with a weaker squad than ladt year.

    Hope you're well mate.

His hand has already been played by the club in terms of options from the bench. And I don’t think there’s a magical secret option all the fans can see but that Collins isn’t using.

You make some valid points there. The own goal changes the game massively and the open goal miss was akin to Dave Reg many moons ago.We still should have had enough to beat Cambridge but thats football.Ask Peterborough
    and Leicester for example.

Honestly, I hope he does walk away

I'm fed up of going to home games; 5 hours I drove for today and I really have no idea why I bother. We're an awful team at home

I'm genuinely considering not renewing my season ticket for the first time in years

Enjoy your holiday Fonzie and leave the commenting on the absolute state of what we’ve watched today to those unfortunate enough to be there to witness it - also witnessing Lord inept do absolutely nothing from the touchline and even at two nil down refuse to differ from playing three centre backs and passing it around sideways even in injury time

A change in formation would be one

We're losing at home so he brings off a defender....for another defender. Why?!

Have we changed our style/approach all season? Where is the plan B?

Yes I know the subs aren't great but his changes NEVER work, but why would they when all he does is change like for like every single time

    So frustrating

But Fonzie keeps arguing that Collins is doing an amazing job with a weaker squad. You can't argue that point without acknowledging that it's a weaker squad against a far weaker opposition.

    Poor analogy:

I had graffiti on my garage door last year and I paid a company to come out who got it off with some specialised graffiti remover.

This year I asked my window cleaner to get some fresh bird **** off the door. He only got half off.

I believe he's done a poor job. Nobody would dream of saying "yeah but he's only got soapy water to play with, last year you had a bloke with graffiti remover come out". If they did then I'd quite rightly point out that fresh bird **** isn't anywhere near as hard to remove as graffiti and not having amazing chemicals is no excuse for not even being able to deal with a bit of wet ****.

What measurable metrics though? Honestly what? I am asking genuinely by the way, I don't know what metrics you mean that show they are better.

My reason for not wanting him here are that I believe we are where we are in spite of him, not because of him, and that he is doing more harm than good being here.

I am well thankyou, I hope you are too. Don't take any comments personally (from me at least), my intention is to 'argue' with your points, not with you.

Were 5th mate with a squad that's so much weaker than last year it wouldn't hold a sloppy sht in a used nappy.

Thanks for the well wishes, and roll on the playoffs. The playoffs that we reached last year with Kitching, Anderson, Thomas as 3 of our back 4.

Shame we've lost them and replaced them with lads from the tap room.

    But yeah its Collins fault.

Absolute tripe Flitcroft, was not a motivator. He was to motivation what Hitler was to holiday camps.

I don't take anything personally - I love talking all things Reds.

Metrics like points per game, expected goals, goals per game expected goals conceded, sht like that. I actually did some work on this the other month to try and prove my backward points, but I don't have them to hand.

I suppose you can look at it both ways. The lesser sides in the league aren't as bad as last year, but maybe that's because the better sides aren't as good as Plymouth, Ipswich or Weds. Or us. Maybe it's chicken and egg.

Either way, we're 5th. We'll be at Wembley in 6 weeks after we beat Peterborough over 2 legs.

Off out for the night now, I'll try and respond tomorrow to all those who are tearing their hair out at my posts.

Hope we can all have a good evening.
