Please issue a statement that the early bird deadline has been delayed until after the season ends completely so fans can know your decision on the manager before handing over a lot of money

 

At the moment, I'm more inclined to do a few away games next season and not buy a season ticket. Getting sick to death of the back three passing it to each other, then back to the keeper etc etc etc.

 

It is pathetic negative tactics. We played approximately 5940 seconds yesterday, our back 3 had 363 touched. That's one touch every 13 seconds

I want to know what happened to us wanting to play the same fluid way through every age group, so that when they make the first team it isn't double Dutch to them to play that way.

 

I haven't set foot in Oakwell since April 22. Once you get out of the habit of going you don't miss it much. I have been to a number of away games which I have enjoyed in that time. By luck this seasons form means of the 5 games I have been to away we won every one.

 

She doesn't have anything to do with tickets does she?

Me and my lad have decided that we won’t be getting one next year, it’s just not an enjoyable experience anymore. Away days only for us and that’s for the day out first football second

 

Wobbling on renewal at the moment. Just not sure I can sit through much more of that bilge at Oakwell. I can take a defeat, but not the complete lack of cohesion between players or abandoning the basics we've seen in recent weeks.

 

Funnily enough, I would be more enthused about a ST again if we stayed down. If we somehow managed to scrape promotion I would be sorely tempted to give it a miss next season because getting tonked every week would not be fun.

But in reality they have me trapped so I'll be getting one regardless. I am only 5 years from getting senior rate, as long as I keep an unbroken record of season tickets, as I have had one every year continuous since Machin. Miss one year and I would have to pay full rate for several extra years after that.

 

Some right fannies on this thread. The football is bad and so is the atmosphere. Agreed. You don't just give up and stop going though. Even more shameful if you live in Barnsley and you can't be arsed to go. Get a grip.

It’s insane isn’t it, I’m inclined to think a lot of other teams have ‘supporters’ like that but I’m pretty convinced we have the absolute worst of the lot.

 

She gets called worse. And all because she chooses to p*ss away her personal wealth on a third class football club and its ungrateful followers.

 

the abuse she gets is awful and shameful, but I don’t think she is losing her personal weath. She is acting on behalf of the investors whoever they are. In ways the club has stagnated, we have no ambition and the philosophy of the club is to sell players. We are not attracting the next generation of supporters and the ones we do have are being alienated. The club feels toxic from top to bottom and unless something changes it will only get worse.

 

We’re 5th in the league. Having finished 4th last season. They have spent a load of money to maintain that. Give it a rest.
