Haven't a clue. Rarely watched Happy Days, and this is the only forum I post on which I have this username. Must have been pssed.
My nickname growing up. As a kid I used to spell it with 'ey' at the end rather than 'ie', which now triggers my anxiety ridden adult brain. Gally kindly capitalised it for me a couple of years ago, something else my breezier younger self didn't care about.
Nothing too technical about mine. Troff, originally Troffer, is a secondary school nickname which stuck, part shortening of my first name Christopher, part as I was always destined to be the fine, rotund figure of a man I am today
barnsley born n bred now live in west midlands in allan clarke country (willenhall) so simple translation although my darts nickname is the tykester but one on here already with that name
Yep..after having a conversation with ya about our respective names ya right..she would.. Mine's nice and simple...guess who I'm related to....
Always been Andy Mac as I have zero imagination. Andy = 1st name, Mac (Mc) part of surname. Been that on this and previous incarnations of the board. I did once want to change to Bingley Red but that was already taken, by the man who then reappeared as Owen Blackadder. But they were the days when it wasn't easy to change name. I do confess to having a flounce just before Covid and changed my password to something random that I wouldn't remember (and didn't save it in Chrome) so when I worked at the HO I briefly reincarnated as Birkdale Red. Then Loko reset my Andy Mac persona before his very own flounce. If I could change my name now it would be Flouncy Red. I'm also conspicuous by never, ever, ever having appeared in any 'best poster', 'favourite poster', 'most handsome poster', 'funniest poster', 'daftest poster' type polls that appear from time to time. Guess I will have to wait for 'Most miserable poster' or sumfink.
On a different, non-football, forum I was always taken by the sheer randomness of everyone’s usernames e.g. pinkflipflop, cupboard_door, TreeBranch etc. that I decided that I wanted a random one too for the next forum I joined. It was this one so I named myself after the biscuits I remember baking at school: Jam drops.
My name is French so I picked a more famous French name that I heard in history lessons. Could have been Louis XIV I suppose.
Yours was one of the ones I was interested in due the Cathar Heresy and Albigensian Crusade. But if it’s just random that’s not that exciting.
