    Only played 2 games in march and got player of the month. Almost as good as Cosgrove's goal of the month award.

    2nd place was the kid who won the half time car race and in third spot was the 90 odd year old lass who was mascot. It just shows how bad we’ve been when he’s been voted the winner.

    In fairness he came on against fleetwood and shored it up, scored in a win at Wycombe and scored in a draw against Bolton. It’s more than just fist pumping.

    He got 37% of the votes. McAtee was second with 22%.

    Goal was very close. 33% to 31% (Williams).

    I think there’s an element of giving votes to the player now injured for the rest of the season isn’t there? Like, a nice touch?

    The majority of BFC fans aren’t like the majority of internet voices, thankfully.

    Yeah I get this. And it is nice. I was just saying actually he had made a decent contribution so could have been for that rather than whatever the other poster was suggesting.

    Totally agree. Look at our performances after Bolton, we’ve been awful, truly awful in both attack & defence, against poor sides. he sorted us out at the back & scored goals as well, albeit 2, 3 or 4 games.
    he’s been a big miss & for everyone jumping on & tekkin mick, if they can’t see that they must be blind!!!
