Today I don't think the play has been bad. Just useless at doing what is needed to do it win a game

 

Reason why we are losing.

• Should have had a penalty before they scored
• Terrible wall positioning for a free kick by Roberts
• May was offside for the 2nd goal
• Cole missed from 1 yard

 

Any professional needs sacking for missing Sturry like that or at least months worth of wages donating

 

I think we've played well TBH. Two great finishes. How Cole missed that chance to put us ahead, I do not know. We are still in the game.

Don't t know what's wrong with Cole. Gone from looking like a decent striker to one who is devoid of confidence. That miss was awful.

Yep today is not on collins. Its poor defending and poor finishing. Play has been very good

 

Seen us play much worse this season but Cole misses a absolute sitter and the lino misses May stood offside for their second goal it’s just another typical away day at Charlton I’m afraid.

Change Cole for Cosgrove, Jalo on for Cadden and Kane on for Russel and get it gone for.

Playing half decent but with that defence I’m not sure we’ll get a point if we score 3.

 

A decent first half performance with some frustrations. May obviously being the difference.

• I have to ask why Cole would go down when he'd got the better of the defender. Unless he is that devoid of confidence he would rather look for a penalty than lash one goalward there is no sense in thinking it wasn't a penalty.
• McCart makes a silly foul on the edge of the penalty area. Frustratingly the free kick was taken from five years further back, outside the D, allowing May to get it over and in.
• May then takes out MDG as he is about to deliver one into the area and kicks the resulting ball away. No card.
• Cole misses one that would be easier to score.
• Earl makes a shoulder barge challenge on the edge of the area and not only concedes the foul but gets booked. Booked for a shoulder barge.
• In injury time Barnsley are breaking well, they make one or two more passes than they need to but okay, then they pass to Russell, who knocks it back to the defence. Aaargh. Why? Why?

I still think this game is for the taking though. Hopefully Kane can come on fresh and cause some real problems.

 

That's a worry then because that means our **** half is still to come.
