No idea how he keeps getting selected. Defensively leaves huge gaps, and his crossing has been all over the place. I’d sooner have the chaos and effort of Cotter.
He’d contribute more than Cadden. In terms of randomness and entertainment. He might hoof the ball out of play but that would be a welcome variation on hitting the first defender and leaving the team scrambling back to cover.
So we are now suggesting playing a rwb at lwb back who can’t beat a player nor put a cross in on his strong foot? Crackers.
If you look at my post it was said tongue in cheek But there has to be an alternative to Cadden. I also think that professional footballers should be able to play on either side. It’s not that hard.
Cadden has been poor this season. He’s always been a little suspect defensively but last season he had 3 centre halves to help him out and his attacking play was good. I’m not sure what’s happened to his crossing this season but it’s been awful. At the start of the season I was saying how we need to be offering him a contract in an effort to stave away competition but now I’m not sure anyone will want him.
That’s all well and good but Cadden checks back onto his right foot so much you’d think he was a right back !
He’s one of my favourite players but I get the feeling he has ‘checked out’ and assume he has already agreed to join another club
He's probably lost all his confidence after spending months stood in space waving his arms around screaming for the ball only to see his team mates turn around and pass the ball backwards to mdg instead
He's been cack but then so have many others. I honestly don't know what they're playing at. Do they think they're going to get bought by bigger clubs playing like useless tossers? Because they aren't unless someone's stupid enough to buy them.
None of the end of contract players (cadden, Cole, Kane) are interested. Williams more effort but still poor.
