I’m seriously thinking of not going at the weekend..

I’ve not missed many at home, went to Charlton at the weekend & I’ll be honest, the last 4-5 games have been awful.

We’re in the play off places, we should be bouncing, excited, nervous, full of expectation of what’s to come.

I’ll be honest, I’m not feeling any of it, I’m expecting a poor performance, a stagnant atmosphere & pretty much a non event, with my expectation level as zero.

I’ve to move a few things around & proper upset a few to attend, which ordinarily I’d happily do, but I’ve got a ‘can I be arsed’ question to answer.

it shouldn’t be like this when we’re where we are, or is it just me..!??

    Not just you!

I won some free tickets through my kids school raffle and I still can’t be arsed. Been to most home games this season and a handful of away games.

this is what happens when the football has been unentertaining all season and makes it worse that we are now getting the results our negative football deserves. I’ve not been since we got battered by Lincoln and what’s probably more concerning as a life long fan is that I can’t even be bothered to watch on iFollow.

This isn't a dig, just my opinion, but your post suggests you're not bothered about going because of our form and the type of performances that we've been putting out.

That's football I'm afraid. You've got to expect to take the rough with the smooth if you're supporting anyone other than Man City.

If you're genuinely disillusioned with the club, and how it's been run, I can understand that a bit more. But your post doesn't seem to suggest that. And I'd completely understand, if you felt it was impacting your mental health, because I've been there too.

Personally, I can't wait for the game tomorrow. I'm always hopeful of a good result, regardless of form or the opposition. I might be a bit subdued after, but I've come to learn, it's just football, and there'll be another Saturday.

I’m going out for a family meal, something I never get chance to do on a Saturday. Went to Charlton last week and off to Blackpool next week, purely for the days out. Will have the results filtering in on my phone but not missing things that other people really want me to come to for a 140 mile round trip to see the ******** we have to put up with.

I’m not going because I think it will turn toxic if/when it goes wrong. The football is bad enough as it is…

Mentioning food, there's a food fest thingy going on in the Glasshouse Square for something different before the match if that appeals.

I'm not using my ST, again, because I cba with the hour drive to watch the crap we churn out in home games. If by some chance we put on a great game, then cest la vie, I've missed it.

And it's The Masters and National.

My ST has cost me about 60 quid a game this season.

I've been watching football long enough to know the next win is only ever round the corner. As utterly $hite as we've been of late, I'll be there tomorrow, full of hope that we'll smash Reading and start turning a corner. I also realise though, that we could be utter gash and another Saturday night could be ruined. It just comes with the territory. For me, the very worst thing would be not caring either way.

After Tuesday I decided not to go tomorrow. I dread the playoffs, if we make it, and even more if we got promotion.
Can someone at the club please convince me I'm worrying about nothing.

Northampton will be my next game. Before missing Charlton away I’d been to every away match bar Bristol, and had intended to do them all. I have a Pompey ticket, but I’m not going to bother, and I’ve not bought a Blackpool ticket either.

it’s not because I’m disillusioned or withdrawing my support. More because my regular travelling partner is in the Philippines, and my eye is giving me some grief - I’m in for treatment after the final game, and might be forced to miss the playoffs yet, depends on my recovery.

Must say, as much as I love to go to the games, I can just as easily watch on ifollow these days, particularly the home games. The football not great, but that’s never stopped me from going. I think the toxicity could play a part though.

Went Saturday and Tuesday as the games were closer to home than oakwell, but tomorrow we will make the 6 hour round trip to oakwell,

daughter’s first proper home game, she’s done plenty of aways and a promise to get to oakwell before the end of the season has to be kept.

I'll be up at 6:30 PST, as usual, in time to put the kettle on for a large mug of Yorkshire Gold to get my engine started, and enough time to get the iFollow engine warmed up.

IF we make the Play-offs, I'm sure there will be a 4:30 PST start thrown into the mix, but C'est La Vie!

We tend to go drinking into Falco, Barnsley Market, Botanist and TGI’s. Quiet, good choice of food and great lager choice.

Due to the EFL switching to 12.30 for the last game Reading will be my season finale for the league. jetting off next Thursday but land too late to get to Northampton game. So play off's us vital for me or it's season over..COYR
