Oxford winning wouldn't guarantee anything, as Blackpool are now firmly in the mix and can prevent us from taking points in one of our remaining games.

A draw is probably the optimal result from the Oxford vs Lincoln game, as both would drop points, and do more to make it a 2 teams from 4 scenario, than a 1 team from 3 where we're fighting for 6th place with Blackpool and Lincoln.

Oxford win then we don't need to worry about Lincoln. Any other result they can catch us still. Would also mean a point at Blackpool would seal it, assuming we don't win at Pompey....

Was it 5 games ago we thought we might get 2nd, now we're hoping for 6th.

Blackpool are the biggest threat now. If they beat us next week they’ll be 2 behind going into the last game with a better goal difference. Northampton could be a must win game. We’re potentially football’s equivalent of Devon Loch…

And we are also potentially going up!.....we’ve stopped rot today mate whatever else you think, I hope players are going to be a bit more up for it than some on here

Did you go to the match? Rather than "stop the rot", we were extremely luck not to lose at home again.

Not a case of stopping the rot for me. We were all over the place defensively and very fortunate to get a point.

Fair play for coming back twice from being behind but any team with pace out wide as a field day against us and we had Roberts to thank today for making 2 or 3 brilliant saves.

I disagree, we were the better team but a draw was a fair result imo. Play like that against Blackpool and we should get at least a draw

I agree mate, but hopefully a bit of confidence comes through now we have edged a bit nearer, there’s no one thinks we are poor at the back more than me but I am just hoping momentum kicks in at the right time to see us kick on

You're assuming that we don't win at Portsmouth, of course. If we win there, we can all relax - until the play-offs!

I think an Oxford win is the result I would prefer, for the reason you give.
