    Yes, that’s right.

Takes him 10mins to get going - which makes it hard for him as a late impact sub. They’ve been working on it in training with him.

I think he may feature a touch more in these next few games - but also the club and Bobby have done well to protect him and not over expose him too quickly.

Next season will be his big year.

Best forward in a red shirt today. Let's not forget the lads only 18 we had Ivan toney here at 18/19 and people on here wrote him off look where he ended up.
Looked lively got his goal and most of all wanted to be there and play. I'd just keep starting him now over Cole who looks like he wants the season to be over ASAP so he can leave.

It was nice to have a forward on the pitch who can drop a shoulder and go pass someone i just hope he can avoid injuries because he seems to get a few knocks.

Thought he looked a little lost before he scored as well. Few round me wanted him subbing but we couldn't have anyway. His goal completely changed him - was more confident and looked to take players on. We've nothing to lose starting him in the next few games

Some people used to say that all Jimmy Greaves ever did was score.

That’s what kept Cole in our team for so long. He’s not done that now for 13 games.

We might need a goal from him to get us into the play-offs. I'd like to see him start at Portsmouth.

It was so refreshing to see someone wanting to take players on. Players who do that always run the risk of losing the ball, but if they get past a couple of men, they can create or score a goal. Have we had anyone since Hammill who dares to try?

Probably reading too much into it like, but the lads first ever league goal and his team mates reacted like he’d just scored in a pre season friendly.

Have we had anyone since Hammill with the ability to try? Not sure we have tbh.

Jamal Campbell Ryce was also ace at that (sometimes lol). But yeah, have we really had that sort of player, since Adam Hammill ?.

Cole should have scored when he messed up a few yards out in the second half. In the first half when McAtee was put through on goal with an head start and still got caught, if it had been Jalo being put through he wouldn't have got caught.

imagine if we had been integrating him throughout the season building up his confidence, instead of fans saying "not physical enough" after 10 minute cameos. Is Cosgrove physical enough?

Something else he did of note was his very good effort when he was unlucky not to get the winner when he hit the post from a tight angle with two defenders breathing down his neck. He almost transformed a defeat into a victory in the space of a few minutes.
