Tbh it's true and these players time and time again have shown they don't have it in them.

You watched a different game to me if you think we didn't give everything tonight. Unless you literally mean, you have to die for 3 points.

You can accuse the players of making big mistakes tonight. You can't accuse them of a lack of graft.

You have to be able to defend for 3 points more like.

Effort and desire were there tonight. As well as attacking intent.

Bottled automatics twice (last season and this) and will now bottle play offs. These players don't have that mentality needed unfortunately, one for crynes spreadsheet to consider for next season.

I thought they gave their all, and Collins tactic to keep the ball away from our defence was brave and almost paid off against a good team.

When you look at their goals though you understand why we set up that way and expect us to do the same at the weekend.

We simply have to go at teams now because our defence is so weak.

Yep. Something's wrong - I don't know whether it's the tactics or the talent. But I'm pretty sure it's not the effort.

Also played without Connell or Russell and had an inexperienced midfielder playing alongside Kane and no other midfield options on the bench.

    Very unfortunate tonight.

Don’t think we bottled top two last season I don’t remember us ever being top two throughout the season

    This season I agree though

This is where you need some older heads in side, some say Collins hasn't improved any players, older heads can fetch players on,stop em from panicking, cos wi stick they've had got to feel it on the pitch, board wanted Collins cos he plays football from back,we had no offers for players when we finished 5th, covid didn't help, but the style of football didn't either.trouble is theres no experience.why does every player have to have resale value, they'll improve more wi solid older heads.

Exactly. Mads resale value came from playing alongside Solbauer. Learning on the job as well as the training ground. Before then the guy was a complete liability (not his fault).

Mads then helped bring on Kitch. Thought his move came a year early for him personally but we got an offer that was almost too good to be true.
