    I hate it when folk write off a player/gaffer before they've even walked through the door, but in the spirit of the thread and discussion:

    Trouble is we need instant momentum.Who gets the biggest response to a big crowd on Saturday Duff or Thalhammer.It's a no brainer for me.

    If its going to be Thalhammer so beit we all like the press that Stendel introduced and evidently this fella plays the same.What I don't get his the clamour for the appointment to be before the weekend.Whoever gets the job will have no idea if we're confident,fragile,ill,carrying knocks or have other problems.Unless the next man is ultra motivational theres no reason at all to be involved in the next 1,2,3,or even 4 games.End of the season should be the aim to get him bedded in and to go through the recruitment possibilities for the next season.If they are appointed for the weekend it should be more in an observational role.

    If it is to be Thalhammer then I'll give him my backing, if he is indeed in charge for Saturday then credit to the club for getting it done quickly.
    Loved the football we played under stendel and our press under Val if its going back to this style then great we were like a pack of blood thirsty wolves, hope the board back him with signings to fit the style, we need pace, strength and stamina to pull it off successfully.

    I’m not saying I believe this rumour or not. But every time we have a managerial vacancy we see several allegedly confirmed rumours fall away. Take last time for example. Everyone in the know said Wilder. Then It move to Ruaidhrí Higgins. Then we appointed Collins and not a single person supposedly in the know had mentioned his name.
