He would certainly seem like a more logical choice than Williamson (got a playoff campaign of his own coming up) and the Austrian guy (way too leftfield considering our current predicament).
Having had a look online at Orient results one thing that I did notice that I like is the fact they have played numerous different formations during the season. One complaint of many over the last few seasons has been managers lacking flexibility. For example, orient have played 352, 343, 4231 and 433 this season according to different lineups on TransferMarkt. I do admit that site may have got it wrong but he does clearly mix it up.
Wellens was a name that I thought of early on after Collins was given the boot. Not sure we will see it though.
Signed a two & a half year contract in March 2022 so little or no compo sounds like somebody we would go for
Relegated Oldham, and sacked by Donny when they were down in 23rd. Uninspiring. Managerial statistics As of match played 27 April 2024 Managerial record by team and tenure Team From To Record Ref. Good to see extra box office staff being brought in to help with the quick turnaround for selling play off tickets.
Yeah get your point Andrew but he got Swindon promoted from League 2 and then look what he's done at Orient over the last 2 years. Got them from a mid table League 2 team to winning the league then a top half finish in League 1.
