But apart from that SD - we’re in the play-offs. So as stated elsewhere can we all suspend the negativity and get behind them from now until it’s impossible to progress. Not a lot to ask.
Don’t think anyone’s taking it for granted, but as a fans, why can’t anyone put behind what’s gone on before and get behind them for these play-offs? It’s ok to be pessimistic or optimistic about our chances, it’s opinions and part and parcel. To me it’s petty not to get behind them now
Spot on. It's not that I don't want us to win and want to be negative. The worst part is I don't care if we lose anymore.
Neaw I’m a stubborn great get so my mind is made up, I am however going to push the boat out and get some nice ales DIPA, West Coast IPA etc and watch in comfort.
I'm suddenly tempted to do the same thing! At least you won't need too many DIPA's to stop you noticing the game if things start to go truly tits up!
It’s on tv, it’s going to absolutely piss it down all night, we have been shi.te for months and nobody gives us much chance. No surprise sales aren’t massive - but there’s still only sporadic seats left in the ponty, doesn’t look like there’s two together anywhere, same in the middle sections of both tiers of the east. Plenty left overall in the east and loads in the west but sales aren’t as bad as some predicted. I’ll be there in the pissing rain. Where else would I be?
It's not even that I don't care if we lose, but the fact that there's no argument to be made if we do for it being 'undeserved' or 'unlucky'. We're the weakest team going into the play-offs, both in term of finish position and form, so anything we achieve from here is a bonus. Can't make the home leg, but got my ticket for the away leg yesterday, which I'm hoping won't be a write-off before we even get there (and yes, I know what Wednesday did in the 2nd leg last year before anyone mentions it!)
Amazing how many 'fans' will be watching from the comfort of their living rooms. I understand its their choice but as things stand we are looking at an attendance of probably around 12k. That's pretty poor for a game of this magnitude.
Old workmate of mine used to say, Fans watch from the settee....Supporters watch from the terraces...
The main reason for me is that I don’t think under this board we have a chance of competing at the level above, so it’s just not something I can get behind any more. The Championship is hard enough without being hamstrung by our owners. I think we’re fcked either way if I’m honest. I genuinely hope that they prove me wrong, I am desperate to be excited about BFC again but it doesn’t feel likely at the minute.
I've had a season ticket nearly 30 years but gave it up when we moved away in September, so not attended since then. Seen all the games though. I'm as disappointed as the next person with the form since beating Derby, but thrilled we made the playoffs. Wish I was going. Reading some of these posts is very depressing. Imagine if a poll of the players showed such negativity. Jesus. I could do with a visit to AMC, but Monday's too late!
Which one? Lidl beers range from outstanding to undrinkable, and you get very little clue from the can!
