    This would be the worst result for me, because the players will go to Bolton and try and defend the lead. And we can’t.

    I was saying that to @Chef Tyke the other day. If by some miracle we win 2-0 tomorrow it'll be 2-2 half an hour in at their place, and then the wheels will really start to fall off.

    The big difference is we don’t have the height, strength and speed of Pines. What we have left isn’t good enough against a quality side.
    We also have no quality on the bench to impact a game against good sides.

    Everything points against us. Form is with Bolton we have no permanent manager consensus with fans is one of doom and gloom.

    Important to stay in the tie it's not do or die Friday, the pressure will be all on Bolton in the 2nd leg, big crowd, heavy favourites etc etc.
    Wouldn't be disappointed with a draw on Friday, I think we've a better opportunity winning the tie from the 2nd leg as long as we remain in the contest.

    On the one hand, we're **** at the moment, crap at home, have sacked the manager and replaced him with a caretaker who hasn't won a game and we are missing Pines...

    On the other hand, Bolton have never won an away play-off game and have lost one game against them in 6-7 seasons, so I think we'll sneak it.
