Relegation next season, the downward spiral

    What we are witnessing is shambolic & I have no confidence in these owners to first, employ a decent manager to stamp his authority on the team & influence his style of play including what players he brings in as that’s down to the stupid spreadsheet. Second, I have absolutely no confidence in these charlatans delivering a better match-day experience anytime soon that goes beyond the 90 minutes on the pitch. And third I have no confidence in them not making another amateur **** up of some sort that makes us a laughing stock.

    Next season is a relegation battle. Looking over our shoulders rather than look up.

    You said we'd get relegated the season before this one.

    You're honestly such a negative influence on this board and I've got no idea why you support this team because you clearly find no joy in it. Anyone else would've stopped a long time ago and found a hobby they take pride and joy in.

    Despite just getting in and consoling myself that at least we made a play off spot I feel the need to say your post is the biggest load of sh*te that's been on here all week..and believe me there's bin some sh*te this week

    The OP might be overreacting but Christ we’ve got a big summer ahead. Picking a coach and having a decent transfer window hasn’t been as crucial in years.
    Club is at a crossroads for sure.

    Everyone's having a go at Sam here, but the fact is that if you extrapolate the last quarter of a season's worth of games to a full season, we'll be relegated in bottom place.

    And it's highly likely that the board will again weaken the squad during the summer, scratching around to try and recoup a small proportion of the losses their mismanagement and Jimmy Cryne's poor recruitment advice has racked up.

    We'd actually be 2nd bottom on 40 points.

    The 12 games before that we would've had 100 points if we use the same criteria.

    I was one of the only people on here who expected a promotion push this season.

    Next season as things stand it will be mid table at best and our worst season since Danny Wilson came back.

    There is a struggle to name an handful of players worth keeping. Phillips, Connell, Pines, Lofthouse. I'm really struggling now.
