Smiling as he comes off at 2 nil down says it all doesn't it.

 

Shouldn't be anywhere near the squad on Tues.

 

If only he put in as much effort covering the pitch as he does to covering his bald spots

 

He was but I wouldn't read anything into it. It looked like a smile masking frustration to me. He didn't get into the game though so it was the right substitution.

 

he's had an attitude problem for a very long time, thinks he's better than everyone else, he's a decent footballer trapped inside a non athletic body and not really any better than the rest

 

Played woefully tonight.

I wouldn't read too much into his reaction to being subbed though, players aren't robots and will show signs of emotions especially when things aren't going for us.

 

As a fan I don't want to see players strolling off smiling when we're 2 nil down. Looked shocking attitude imo. Get players like that gone.

Don’t feel like he’ll consistently play in a higher division than he’s in now. Not good enough for the championship.

 

Again, I don't think this is one of the criticisms you can throw at Herbie. He was extremely poor tonight. Dwelled on ball, tried doing tricks in stupid positions, couldnt make space for himself and his passing was woeful. But I just don't see him not putting effort it. Perhaps I'm clouded.

 

Look like he was trying to me didn't see a problem with his attitude during the game. There was only one player really shirking is responsibilities and we all know that was

 

Over the full season he's played his part in getting us into the playoffs, no need to pile into him now.

 

Just as an aside when Cole was taken off I thought it was pathetic from sections of the crowd to jeer him and clap him sarcastically.

 

So did I. McAtee is the one who should have gone off.

Kane had a poor game tonight but I think Bolton had a plan to limit him as much as possible. Grant was much more effective when he came on

 

If Cole smiles when he comes off like that as the club scapegoat he would have got hammered and rightly so.

Thought he was one of the best players on the pitch prior to the goal we conceded. Then seemed to shrink back like the rest of the team.

Shame about Kane, similar career trajectory as Mowatt during his spell with us. Not fit to clean Mowatts boots now though.

 

I thought he was putting effort in before the goal if I'm honest. I've heard the phase heart of a pea time and time again but that was him tonight for sure. And the smiling when he came off as your teams 2 down shows how much he cares.
