    I've just started a thread saying the same thing. It's like you ARE allowed to keep your best players in League 1. Weird, innit?

    We all said put Russell on for the last 5mins and get him to injure him for the 2nd leg and take a straight red for it. Cos if plays on Tuesday, we’re deffo not going to Wembley……

    Thought he looked poor on the ball with it at his feet.

    But he was an absolute magnet with the ball in their air. No matter where it was pumped up to, he was there winning it.

    Scored 2 goals fair enough. Last 6 matches he’s played 90 minutes the team has conceded 2 or more each game. Another hype job. Club were desperate and signed him and fans bought into it because he’s a likeable character.

    Him and MDG at back would get torn apart every week, why do you think we play with 5 at back?

    Also mentioning USA caps is irrelevant. He’s played twice for them. Kevin Davies, Jay Bothroyd and Matt Jarvis all played for England ‍♂️

    I'm pretty sure he played against Derby when we won 2-1. Looked quality at both ends. Will be a key player next season.

    Hes only played 4 matches for us.

    Two of those matches we only conceded 1 in.

    If we're going to write of players this early can we get the stats right at least?

    Fair enough i got it wrong but i’m still standing by what i said. He is garbage. It was a hopeful punt getting him in and only thing he’s got going for him is his character. Dike was same but he was class.

    Mate,with respect you're talking absolute nonsense. He looked excellent, and he was almost certainly not fully fit, playing in a new country for the first time.

    Team was noticeably better with Pines in it. As long as he can get fit he’ll be a top player for us. Players with his stature who are quick & good in the air are ideal at this level.
