He’s *****.

 

He’d probably make a better midfielder than a CH. Gets bullied too easily.

 

Also, some people just wait for a mistake he makes to comment, and ignore the rest of his play.

 

He’s far too slow we’ll not go anywhere playing with him in the middle of a 3

 

I'm ok with him in general, but he looks very nervous tonight.
And I agree, I think he'd be a good defensive mid

 

He must be slowest centre half I have ever known we have had.....surely you can see that?......anything over top and he can’t get there

 

There are definitely 3 out of 4 defenders that aren't good enough and these are our top defenders!!!

 

You said it all when you said mistake, he makes that many mate

 

Been poor today but will have a massive role to play next season.

Too much of a luxury player, maybe he'd be alright if both CBs beside him were solid but they aren't. Any attacking or ball carrying threat is negated by how frail the defence is.

 

Sincerely hope not. He’s the softest CH I’ve ever seen and his positional sense is none existent. A few fancy flicks and interceptions don’t make a good league 1 CH.

 

That’s probably true. Problem is they don’t often have to wait that long to be fair.

 

When he's running back to our goal after opposition punts one over our defence, he needs to stop taking a touch &turning out wide when he has a player on his heels. Often it doesn't work out. He needs a big lad at side. Ala pines

 

What qualities do you see in him mate, yeah he can be ok bringing ball out of defence at times, but first and foremost you need to be able to defend when your a centre half.... I don’t think he can, he not strong in air and I can run faster at 63 year old lol

 

I think he’s been poor today but remember what people said about mads after 1 season. Albeit at a higher level but that doesn’t really matter. See how he goes next season.

 

Are they though? The stats say otherwise. We've conceded far fewer with Lopata and Shepherd in the team.

 

Has been awful all season. Inability masked by the fact the others are even worse.

But so was mads in his first season

 

That's the problem with our recruitment policy. Mads came good in the end but, just like Mael, do we ask too much of them too soon?
