    But why should he be anywhere near the 1st team? Loyal servant to the club, I'd love him to stay on in some capacity but IMO that's not with the 1st team.

    Never expected there to be only 1 goal in it after the first leg, so we'll done for not getting embarrassed. Fought on the night, but too late to make up the disastrous second half of the season.

    Restored some pride at the end but the defensive issues that have followed us most of the season proved costly again.

    Plenty to work on over the summer, got to cross our fingers they get it right. Starting with a new head coach soon hopefully.

    Proud of them tonight. The tie looked dead and buried at half-time and what a comeback. Cosgrove will still be ours next season and perhaps this play-off campaign will prove to be his defining moment in his Barnsley career.
