Is Cotter better than Cadden/ O’keefe? Is Cosgrove better than Cole? And is Grant better than Kane ? last one is a bit of a stretch but in my opinion they all are as good and should have been rotated into the squad over the last few months.
No. All 3 are overall poor but have their own strengths. Cotter is the worst out of the 3 for me. Cosgrove is much more of a handful than Cole but Devante is better at finishing. Kane is better than Grant at the minute but I’d like us to sign Grant in the summer. Think there’s a player in there we could develop.
Cotter’s never been a footballer. Which is a shame as he’s a thoroughly likeable bloke. Anyone with eyes knows Cosgrove should have got a proper run in the team months ago.
What on earth has Cadden actually done for people to stand up for him? Someone tell me what position he’s best at and then show me an example of him doing that job? He can’t defend or attack! He can’t cross or tackle ?
He plays in a different position to Cotter for starters so it's hard to compare the two and suggest Cotter should come in for him. Please don't suggest playing a right back who's already defensively suspect at left back either.
Disappointingly cadden has regressed more this season more than any player I can remember. Last season he was one of our best players this season……
I prefer a big man up top so naturally I prefer Cosgrove to Cole. I think Kane’s been our best player this season but he’s on a poor run of form like several others. Whilst I would sign Grant I’d bear in mind that he’s coming on with nothing to lose against a nervous opposition. Momentum is huge in football. Cotter’s just bizarre. He can be better than Cadden & O’Keeffe but he’s likely to be a lot worse. I couldn’t describe what type of player he is.
Said it before but other than his long throws Cotter offers nothing for me and shouldn’t be anywhere near our first team.
