Was in a pub last night with a West Brom supporter drowning our sorrows and discussing this season.
He made a comment about both players currently out injured and said we ought to get Dike in on a season load.
He went on to say both could encourage one another through their recuperation. But we'd have decent striker when fit plus part of a decent backbone.
Just thought I'd throw it into the mix to discuss whilst we wait for the new coach.
It's just Dike's injury situation that puts me off but the theory is sound.

That sought of load would cause a strain.

Not chance I'm afraid, for 2 reasons, 1 his wages would be far too high, so unless West Brom would pay them we couldn't afford, and 2, loads of lower half champ clubs would definitely take him on loan, and be able to pay a lot more bud

Dike is far too good for this league. I get the bit about recuperation but he’s still too good for this division.

I hope he gets over his injuries soon and can make a decent fist of his career in England again.

Would be good to be asking the question.

Given the injury record though, wouldn’t want it to require much of the budget.
