    I had a nasty dream we cancelled a friendly with an established League club so we could get thrashed by Man City reserves on their training ground. Sign a holding midfielder from them and get relegated with a whimper.

    Had almost forgotten about Claudio Gomes (not difficult). Just googled him and he’s now at Palermo in Serie B. He’s made 44 appearances so I assume he’s a regular starter for them.
