Currently winning 2-0 vs Burnley. 1st goal on 41 mins (Jalo) apparently a superb free kick 2nd goal 46 min pen. (Chapman) following a foul on Jalo. Hopefully next year may be the real break these two get in the 1st team.
Really want to see Jalo get a lot more minutes next season. Not saying he should be starting week in week out, but really needs to be given a lot more gametime.
Great free kick by Jalo. Had another goal ruled out and won the penalty. As with his appearances in the first team, not sure he always gets the kind of service he needs. Reds defended well. Burnley well organised but a bit toothless. Feisty games at times.
I think we need to be giving him some starts next season. He's got plenty of experience playing at international level for Portugal's U18's & 19's now & looks strong enough physically to be playing in the mens game. I'm not sure how long we'll keep him in the long run, but let us see him in action, before one of the big fish come in for him. With Cole & McAtee going we need a player like him. Out wide in a 3, or number 10 role.
