    Just got back. The score-line flattered Charlton, as we were very much in it, but we conceded very early on, and were then caught out by a couple of quick counter attacks.

    We almost took the lead when Luke Alker cut inside from the left, and hit a shot which fizzed just over bar.

    The fifth goal killed it off, when we conceded from a corner - reminiscent of the first team.

    However, the young lads put in a spirited performance, and I'd love to see some of these make the breakthrough into the first team a year or two down the line.

    Vimal's sister was alongside me on the touchline, and further along was Grant McCann.
