Some signings will have been identified in January others when the club knew which league we would be in and collectively when the new coach is installed.
https://www.themillers.co.uk/news/2024/may/signing--rafferty-becomes-second-summer-recruit-20-05-24/ Cracking signing that. Millers mean business getting a manager and a couple of very good freebies in early.
I'd say McAtee had a bigger effect than some of the names you've mentioned there. Adam Armstrong and Ivan Toney might have had good careers, but they were average at best for us.
Sid Bovis, just left Stocksbridge Park Steels by mutual consent after he ate the contents of the pie shop. I’m sure he’ll be willing to make a step down and a cut in salary to boss our midfield.
https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/...pool-peterborough-united-and-barnsley-4635726 Full list there if hasn’t been posted. I’d go for a few of them to be honest.
D’Margio Wright-Philips just been released by Stoke. If we do go for Stendel and need a winger he'd be very good.
Spot on except for Armstrong's goal at Preston one of the few what did I just see moments following the reds.
Peterborough just signed a striker from Harrogate.. they normally pick up decent under the radar strikers do posh..
What? But this can't be right, I thought it didn't matter so much, us having no manager, aren't all the players on their holidays until 1st July, so no deals can get done until they're all back from Vegas/Dubai.
That's the first one they've got that I am annoyed we missed out on. Very good LB/LWB at this level and we haven't got any on the books at the moment
Charlie Goode and shandon Baptiste both been released by Brentford. Baptiste maybe a little unrealistic but Goode was on loan with Wigan last season. Former Northampton captain and still only 28
Goode was brilliant for Northampton, but has lost his way a bit since he went to Brentford. Certainly one I wouldn't mind taking a punt on.
