I can't stand idiotic irritants, so I welcome the election and the chance to get shut of him!

That's a fair point Ian, although the seeming chaos of the SNP right now is surely going to put a lot of people off voting for them?

Fair point Merde but to vote for who? Most other parties are unionist leaving only Alba or the greens supporting independence.
All parties throughout the Uk have had rough times don’t see SNPs problems being very much different.

That was very interesting reading that.

In your position I'd probably vote Green, unless I was in a marginal in which case I'd just have to do whatever it took to stop the Tory, even if I had to hold my nose. It's one of the many faults of FPTP, but until we get an electoral system that's fit for purpose, you often have to choose the least bad option.

Well I’m in Dundee east and last election SNP had almost a 15k majority over 2nd placed Tory. So possibly safe to assume an SNP win again.
I’m actually in Barnsley on election day so unless I get a postal vote I won’t be voting but I doubt it will matter.
Just as long as the tories are consigned to history.

Vote Green Ian, you know it makes sense.

Seriously though, vote tactically against the Tories. Anything else is a wasted vote.

Well not sure, if you are caught siphoning funds from the organisation, it could fall in either, but it certainly tarnishes the party image if folk think others might have been dipping in.
Only my opinion from afar of course.

Look if Murrell has sticky fingers then yes he should face the courts. The case has been going on for about 3 years and no real movement from the police. But now a GE has been announced so will charges against Murrell. The English establishment have just been waiting for this to happen so to spread more muck.
Thing is Nicola not standing in this election so quite irrelevant but really against what Johnson and Gove and Hancock and the rest got up to it’s all quite tame.

No no mate that is quite alright because I realise you only get the news the English media want you to get.
It’s Westminster’s way of suppressing us Scots.

Even this morning on Jeremy Vine there was a Nicola smeer.
They showed her celebrating an snp candidate taking a seat from the Lib Dems but portrayed her celebrating Jo Swinson losing her seat.
English media is all utter scum.

Well down here most folk are expecting bigger majorities than 15000 to disappear, but I suspect our distrust of the Tories is much stronger than the feelings in Scotland towards the SNP?

As a matter of interest, how would you expect your fellow Dundeeans to vote if they switch from SNP?

    It’s Dundonians mate.
I really don’t know mate. See if folk have a want for independence then Labour is not for them. So they’d probably vote Alba or green.
Now where I stay tories did vote SNP to keep Labour out but they needn’t bother lately as Labour were a poor third in the ratings hence getting 10k votes last time out.
But admittedly things have changed. Will they once again ditch Tory and vote SNP or go liberal. If any are inde minded maybe green. Can Labour gain thousands of local votes? Who knows.
    All very interesting.
