    I think we can safely say that the first choice was Thalhammer, he's confirmed it himself. I'm far less convinced all the other names we've heard were ahead of this guy.

    Really? **** me,apologies for the language, I think it's an excellent appointment, 10 years experience, won promotions I don't think you can knock this appointment but clearly some think we should be looking at Pep

    Pleased to have it resolved, and a manager in before the Summer to do proper preparation and involve themselves in transfer decisions.

    I don't really know Darrell or his teams, but he seems well regarded by the teams he's worked with, has a few promotions under his belt already, and comes across a passionate and driven bloke. Good luck to him!
