Best of luck to him. An aside.... Seriously... For all the money we haemorrhage out... A proof reader would be a wonderful investment.
So basically everybody who ‘knew’ actually knew fk all Anyway welcome Mr Clarke , if you have the same effect as the last Clarkey , you’ll do fer me
Happy with this , knows the league well, plays front foot aggressive football , no nonsense character who is used to working with small budgets .. well done those involved in the recruitment
Proof is in the pudding, but I like the flap of his gums. https://x.com/footballheaven/status/1793642620326924786?t=7nspO4rveqkm6mKymbhY8w&s=19
Hes the type most of us wanted, L1 experience play off experience and a man management style of fitness and assertive play that we love. Lets hope the board back him and we do our bit to support him. we may need to be patient as the quality in the squad is a bit lacking but all we as fans ask is that the team try their best and leave it all on the pitch..give us that mate and well follow ya...COYR
Only been here 2 minutes and we are already changing his job title. Wait until @SuperTyke catches up with the mistake.
Given the fact he goes in and moves on the majority of a squad in a summer, you would hope the board have factored that in their thought process because if he doesn’t think the players are right they should be expecting him to want to move most on. Could be an interesting Summer
Hey look, all joking aside, and ignoring the disappointing and 'underwhelming' comments. I think this is possibly one of the better options that we had. Ok yeah I/we are still looking for improvements from the owners, regarding backing the coach/manager a lot more, and better communications with us as fans as well. But that at the moment, is for another time. Now let's hope Clarke will enjoy getting to work with the remaining squad players (when they all get back from holidays).
Wiki suggests he leads intense coaching sessions which suggests, just like Michael Duff, he's old school.
