    Got home from work tonight to find a 'please renew' leaflet on the floor.
    Hmm that's odd, whitey said they only send things to people who haven't renewed and I did that a few weeks ago when he pointed it out.
    Goes online to check my Barnsley account and **** me it says I haven't renewed. Checked my bank account statement and nope, not renewed. What the hell is that all about?

    After 5 minutes of faffing realised my card linked to my bfc account had expired. Put the new card in and it definitely says transaction successful. Still no confirmation email though.

    I would NOT have been happy with myself if I'd missed the deadline and had to pay the penalty fee

    Shouldn't you have received a "payment declined" message of some description when you originally tried to pay?

    I would have expected so but if I did then I didn't notice it. But then I've still not had a confirmation email either so wouldn't be surprised if one appeared ages after I'd finished

    I've just checked my confirmation email, and I received it at 23:10pm on 6th April. I am reasonably certain I would have been asleep by then, so maybe give it until the morning and check your emails again. In fact I thought I'd renewed my season ticket whilst at work, so that would have been the 5th, at least 36 hours before receiving the confirmation.

    Cheers Archey. I've taken screenshots of the 'transaction successful' message on the website and the fact it no longer shows I have a season ticket available to renew so should all be good. I'm more annoyed with myself for not picking up on it before as I'd already tried once when whitey pointed out I couldn't have bought it if I'd had a renewal email so it's not like i wasn't warned

    I had to try 4 times to renew it today. It just would not work the first 3 times (around 12 o clock) but it did about an hour ago at home.
