Just the tone. I got the impression the presenter (was it Rob tonight?) was teasing a biit at the end. Perhaps he got told something after the interviews today at Oakwell. Not suggesting anyone puts a bundle of cash on it, but I suspect it may well happen.

I’m sure he’s said before that he wanted to return to Barnsley one day. It was on the NTT20 podcast interview when he was still at Villa iirc.

 

I actually like the red shorts. If we're going retro again I'd go for either Lyons Cakes or Sandal Bayern. Both slightly unusual but unmistakably Barnsley.

Neil from Tyke TV was on. He was cycling through his concerns about the squad, then said something like, 'there's rumours of Hourihane coming back if they're true', and Andy Giddings said "I think so". Nothing more was said though.

Edit: a little bit further on, he said we're expecting some sort of news coming out of Barnsley re Conor Hourihane, and whether he's likely to return, and in what capacity, presumably player coach.
