The more I read about him, the more optimistic I become. He seems a great fit. He comes across as a decent person and has a good track record. I hope we get behind him and support him in what could be a tricky next season. I have a mate who's son played for him at Bristol Rovers and he loved him as did the rest of the players. Looking forward to next season now.

Yeah, it’s important for both the board and us fans to back him. The board with some funding and fans with patience. It likely to be more than a one season project and we need to be prepared for that. If we can get a promotion this coming season then that would be a brilliant achievement

Yep, but from day 1 Collins got some stick. Hopefully Clarke will reunite us all bud.

Early days but Clarke seems to have a personality and drive that Collins never had, I've heard Clarke mention getting promoted more times in 3 days than the whole of last season.

If Collins got stick from day one. What makes you think this guy won't, given some are saying, last option. Got Cheltenham relegated etc. Its in their genes to criticise.

A bit like women. Bollocking husbands for summat they've not yet done. And I don't mean washed the pots or dug the garden lol. :).

To be fair, I've already seen on twitter people bemoaning the fact Cheltenham did get relegated, him having a 30% win record with them etc. No context, what a shock! :D

Pretty sure it was just 3 games actually bud:p

Unless we're spending millions and or appointing expensive well known managers people will just find things to pick away at.
Mladen doesn't communicate = criticism, fair play we've sacked a head coach and thought there would be an update within days, Mladen then speaks upon the appointment of clarke and it gets pulled apart.
I'm the biggest critic going around the topic of formation and style being set by a DOF, that's just my opinion, but it is what is.
I think there comes a time you've to let them get on with it, there's a busy rebuild ahead, gaurantee as soon as we start signing players before they've kicked a ball for us, be folk queuing up to have a whinge.
Just get the gut feeling Mladen will be the next scapegoat for everything, even non footballing stuff.
