    Wouldn’t turn him down, but expect him to go to a championship/newly promoted premier league team on a long term contract.

    Give Ashley fletcher a chance to reignite his career...... Needs a wage cut after a bad few years but worth a shot in my opinion.

    I’m sure I read somewhere he could sign for Stockport but not sure. If we were to sign him, I hope he wouldn’t be a direct replacement for Cole or McAtee but someone who’s going to play their part as a squad player.

    Yep, but if we took a punt on someone else who didn't used to play for us with those stats, board would be hammered for it! There's no in-between.

    I saw him play for Stevenage at Cheltenham last season and was disappointed, as he hardly got a touch. When they brought on a more experienced striker Stevenage went out and scored two goals late in the game. He definitely has the pedigree from youth football and could be worth a punt, but will need a lot of Johnny Stead's coaching before he comes good. He also had a loan spell at Newport. He's no Michael Chopra at the moment, but could be worth a punt. I doubt if he will go to a Championship team, unless there is a coach who knows him and thinks he could get the best out of him. Could be the next Max Watters!!

    I could understand most signings we made last year, even Dallas (unless he cost a bomb...) - besides Shaw, mate. Problem is, it's all well & good making signings with potential but I definitely felt we needed 1 or 2 with more game experience under their belt. Hopefully they sort it out for us this season.

    Yeah I agree to be honest, I'm all for low risk signings as long as they are complimented with more established first teamers. I look forward to seeing who comes in this summer.

    Yeah suppose it is if you don't rate the player. I think he would be an asset in League one with the right club.
