But I don't know of a video that shines a better light on the people of Barnsley than this. I find it genuinely touching, so I'm sharing it, I hope you do too.

Bolton upon Dearne I assume mate given the article below. So in effect yes if so. As part of the borough. Although Alex wont admit lol. Being a Miller.

Two teenage boys are being called "angels" after leaping onto railway tracks to rescue a man in distress just seconds before a train pulled in. Freddie Corbett, 15, and Harley Hollingworth, 16, spotted the man in a sleeping bag on the platform at Bolton upon Dearne in South Yorkshire on Saturday night.

    Edit.
Says they were catching the last train home. So guess not from Bolton on Dearne. Over to you Jay as you know em.

I’m from the area, the young lads around this area have had terrible press for the last few years, especially those of Thurnscoe, I’m glad that there’s stories like this and the anti social youths are the minority. Great work lads.

Spare a thought for the man in need too, I hope he’s getting the help he needs and it’s not too long before we hear his story of recovery.

Makes me shake my head when people champion mandatory national service. As if it's all young uns need discipline.
"yung uns today" yes there are some out of control and summat needs doing to those. But to tar em all with the same brush is utter *****.

Very brave lads. Shane about the guy they saved but doesn’t take anything away from their bravery.
