Recently, I printed off, filled in and returned the membership form, and set up a monthly standing order.

The first payment was taken today, but as of yet, I have not received anything from the club to acknowledge/confirm my membership - I was expecting a membership pack with some sort of welcome letter, or a the very least, a membership card with my name and membership number on it!

How do people claim their winnings without proof of membership of the society?

I have reached out to the club via email, but have yet to receive a response, and was wondering if any centenary members who post on here could confirm what I should expect to receive from the club to confirm my membership.

    Thanks in advance

I'll be honest I can't remember the last time I got a membership card as such. (I'd get one if I asked but my payment card is my proof) You appear to pay by direct debit. So I've no idea how acknowledgement of payment gets sent.
Have you been allocated a number. ?. If so look out for the winning no's on line. (Just google barnsley fc half time draw or centenary draw) . Saves trying to find on the website.
But id give the box office a ring personally. That's who I pay mine through nowadays quarterly over the counter. I'm sure they'll help.

I've been paying DD for last 8 or so years. Don't get any mail about it, just got a phone call from club to say it was my number. Then in true modern day BFC style got sent a cheque :D.

Mainly did it back then for the ticketing priority and also season ticket discount. Just sorta left it in play, still get the season ticket discount but I don't think the actual prize setup is as good as it used to be.

Centenery Society draw takes place on a Friday afternoon and if a winning allocated number is drawn you would get a phone call congratulating you and a cheque is posted out to but nowadays the winning number is also on face book

They inform you If you've won, so I dont think ID would be difficult, unless you're on the run and you've created a new identity.:)
