Wonder when our new kit will be released

We’ve always been late June.

I can’t see the issue really (apart from last year’s supply debacle.)

Also gives time to have a last minute sponsor change.

Euros or World Cup year also slows things down as well.

 

I hope it’s a new sponsor, I liked last season’s shirt but the sponsor logo was awful

 

Hope they dump the stars decoration, and bring back the plain(ish) red shirt, and white shorts, which were our outfit since 1887 or whenever.

 

Disliked all three kits last season which is unusual. The sponsor logo played a large part in that as did the stars on the home and away shirts. The third kit just looked tacky imo.

 

New shirt has more stars.

 

I'm fine with that as long as they're red. And lots and lots of them. Really close together. And on a red background.

No, the stars need to be one shade and so close together that they kind of run into one another. Kind of like this...

 

Have we secured a new main sponsor? Or extended the existing arrangement?

The US Mobile deal was only until the end of 23/24.

 

Any ideas what the average shirt sponsor deal is worth in L1 ?

 

To know that the club would actually have to tell us things.

 

I’ve got faith in John Flatman though - top guy. He’ll get the best money he can for us.

Don’t give a damn about the kit. It’s who’s wearing it that I’m interested in. Get that right and all related sales revenues fall into place.
