I reckon your first choice will be the prime team.

    I see it as 9/11.

Can't see Palmer starting - too similar to Foden and Saka. It'll be Gallagher or Trent next to Rice.

Shaw won't be fit either, so it'll be Trippier at left back I would think.

    Pickford
    Walker/Stones/Maguire/Trippier
    Rice/Gallagher
    Saka/Bellingham/Foden
    Kane

    Thats our side I'd say.

Foden by a wide margin.. Palmer has had an excellent first full season but is nowhere near the world class category Foden sits in.. yet.

Agree but the original question was meaning the Prem league.
Palmer scored more goals and for a poorer team.
    I still think Foden though.

Context though, aren't roughly half of goals scored for Palmer penalties? Not saying they don't count obviously. I think 10 out of his 22 were penalties. For me it's 100% Foden, Palmer looks fast-tracked to be on the same level though if he can perform another season to this level!

Palmer's a good player but come on, Foden is a one in a generation.

Yeah you got me there .. never realised the penalties score.
As a midfield duo they’re the most prolific we’ve had since …… a long time or ever !

Completely agree mate. Throw in Bellingham scoring 23 goals in la liga & champions league, Saka 16 goals, Bowen 16 goals, Maddison, Kane, it's crazy how many goals we've got in this squad. That's not including Watkins' incredible season either.

    Foden for sure.

Palmer on bench which seems harsh but don't forget it's a squad game and we will need players to come off bench and provide moments too and to offer that different option.

I suppose there’s one factor we’ve to consider for the Euro’s and that’s the manager.
Injuries and tactical changes will come in to the reckoning so let’s hope he’s da man !
    I think he is !

Solanke scored 21 this season and couldn't even make the squad..

Aye, some very good fringe players mate. Toney hasn't been great since his return but clearly has quality. Then you have up and comers like Bynoe-gittons, Chukwuemeka, Scott, Hall, Miley, Madueke on the fringe too, who could eventually force their way in.

I suppose it’s a shame for them that Kane has a few more years and it’s unlikely we’ll play 2 proper strikers for a long time

Agree with that. Foden is truly top world class. Palmer is excellent too, and has a couple of years on Foden (this season was his breakthrough really), but not as good right now.

Rice, with JB and PF in front of him in a 3, Palmer as one of the wide front 3, with Kane and Saka.

    Pickford
    Walker Stones Maguire Trippier
    Rice
    Bellingham Foden
    Saka Kane Palmer

Would be my 11. Foden is best played centrally.

Is that an Asian Fusion restaurant order?

I'll take the Rice Bellingham, with a serve of Foden Palmer, and a glass of Saka. Thanks. :)

Foden makes the team for me. There’s definitely space for Palmer but think it’ll be as a regular sub. Despite the clamour to play Bellingham deeper, he’s gotta play in that CAM role. Foden off the right and Antony Gordon on the left. Grealish hasn’t played enough this season to start in front of Gordon. Play Gallagher next to Rice. Drop Trent.
