Over in Blackpool. Gutted I've missed it as I'm not back while monday. Hope everyone is having a great time.
There was someone in Chron yesterday on the letters page. (Back over from America first time since 2015. saying family and friends in the main Saying its lost it's character and all the lovely old buildings, criticising like fook ) well fekk off back to the good old USA and tek others wi thi. it was dying. Footfall has increased I believe more than anywhere else. People I've got into conversation with coming from far and wide in bus loads, as in the olden days, eager to return. I fekkin love our tarn.

This is a genuinely awful take.
You would be bemoaning it the other way if it was empty.

£2.50 for a pint in Courthouse, I thought he'd charged me wrong; and a brilliant blues band too ( Black Toad)

There’s a few pubs in Tarn where you can get beer for around that price or even cheaper. Shakespeare, The Kestrel etc.

He needs to look at the new bike shop on Eldon St. done a fantastic renovation there, keeping and refinishing all the original features of the building - looks great.

Well I sampled 3 hours in the afternoon and I thought it was a brilliant initiative from the organisers to get some business into the town.
Well done and I can imagine from the feedback and pictures on social media ,this will be bigger and better next year.
    Hats off to all .

I don’t think I’ve ever seen town as busy as it was yesterday. Some more pop-up bars dotted around and portaloos wouldn’t have gone a miss, but all in all it was a fantastic day and night.

Great to see Barnsley so full of people enjoying themselves. Saw Civic Green and thought they were brilliant.

You do know it’s being going over ten years? It was Live in Barnsley for the first 5 or 6 years. It was then taken over when the original organisers called it a day.
