    Anyone who knew Brian Moxon( Blue) he passed away yesterday. Played in pool leagues for years. Worked as a joiner for Barnsley Council.

    The word legend is over used these days but if there's one person that deserves to be called a legend, it's Blue.

    It's been an honour and a privilege to know him and call him friend.

    We lived near him, my dad and my uncle Jim were big mates with him and drank tea with him at the council (I darent say worked ).

    One of my favourite memories of him was at Wembley in 2000 when he was drunk as a skunk playing the antique piano in the Cumberland hotel while some of the lads tried to convince the American tourists that Blue was Liberace.

    So sad to hear of Brians passing he was a top man.Going round town with him in our late teens early 20 s gave me enough memories to last a lifetime.

    One of the best guys you could ever meet.
    As an apprentice electrician I had the pleasure of seeing Blue at work on a regular basis.
    Always had time for everyone and his infectious personality lit up any room and had the ability to brighten the dullest of days. Never have I known a person be so universally loved by everyone.
    His loss will be felt greatly by all that knew him.

    Very good friend of mine I'm gutted to hear this news but he's really suffered these last few years so hopefully he's now in a better place...RIP Blue

    I knocked around with Bri a lot in my youth, we winged it down to Wembley for the Crosby Stills Nash farewell concert together. RIP Bri.

    The first time I ever spoke to him he talked to me like I was his best mate - love to Kath, Keith & the rest of his family.

    That sums him up to a tee, I think that if there's anyone on here that knew him then try shutting your eyes and think about Blue without smiling. I bet you can't do it and that's a testament to his character
