Nothing to add really as it's all been said many many times over the years. Police brutality at it's best.

I'm too young ( born in 1986 ) but my dad was a proud miner and was at orgreave. My profile picture is of him there that day. He sadly died last year, but never forgot that day and what happened. I have a great amount of respect for him and all the miners there that day.

“In a way it is even humiliating to watch coal miners working. It raises in you a momentary doubt about your own status as an ‘intellectual’ and a superior person generally. It is brought home to you, at least while you are watching, that is only because miners sweat their guts out, that superior persons can remain superior.”

The biggest, most famous promoter of the book. The Ragged trousered philanthropist. Wanted it on schools syllabus.
