I was 5/6 when we were in it, think I have a whopping 1 memory of it With the amounts of money in football these days, getting back to the premier league seems to get further away every season. Get a half decent manager in to manage England and we'd win it, simple
I'm the same, bud. Be nice to watch England win something in my lifetime but genuinely don't think I'd be massively disappointed if we didn't! Reds for me 100% first, especially if it meant winning promotion back to premier league (even though I think championship is the best league in the world)
Rather weirdly, I asked as similar question to this to my partner’s dad and step dad earlier today. Mine was either your team winning the premier league or England winning the World Cup. Her dad is a Bradford City fan and chose England. Her step dad is a Leeds fan and chose Leeds. Before anyone says anything, I know, the choice of teams isn’t great! I would pick us to win the premier league over England winning the World Cup every day of the week. Obviously I’d like England to win a major tournament but Barnsley will always come first for me. Relating back to the thread, mine would be: 1) Promotion 2) Euros 3) T20
