    That’s the thing though. We haven’t and won’t win anything.

    Because we stop playing when one nil up, over and over again. Nothing changes.

    You consistently defend him - at what point when we do the same thing and fail over and over will you accept what some have said for a long time and that even the bbc punditry team are now eluding to?

    No issues replacing Trent. Should have moved Jude back and put a winger on though - Whichever one he wanted.

    I just don't get how anyone can justify this now with the calibre of player we have. Its abysmal. Its truly crap and there's no reason for it to be. On the plus side, at half time, the pundits were finally criticising the style of play.

    He’s got Gordon, Eze, even Bowen though.

    And watching the same thing we are watching, he paints by numbers and does his preplanned substitution of Gallagher for Trent just like the last game. Conor Gallagher is a decent footballer but this game was hardly crying out for him.

    I didn’t really mind the squad he selected. I just wish he’d use it and play to its strengths.

    He won’t. He doesn’t just leave the handbrake on, he’s got them frightened to death of playing.
